Provincial Championship
The provincial pickleball championship determines the best pickleball players in NB for all age levels.
Interested in hosting the provincial championship?
Affiliated clubs are invited to apply to host the provincial championship each year. Applications are invited from October 1-31 and the decision is made within 30 days of close date. Announcement is made November 30. The decision process is led by the tournament director via committee.
Please make sure to read the bid book prior to filling out your application.

Sponsorship
The host of the provincial championship can receive a sponsorship of $500 upon request to the Director of Tournaments provided the club follows criteria outlined below:
- Tournament must be open to all NB players
- Tournament must have at least 60 players registered
- Tournament must be posted on Pickleball NB website
- Tournament must post a banner to be provided by the Director of Tournaments to announce the sponsorship
- Tournament must follow all criteria outlined in bid book
A club may be asked to refund the sponsorship if these criteria are not followed.

Tournament Committee
The tournament committee's duty is to choose the host for the provincial championship based on applications received each year. The committee reunites once a year (zoom or in person) to decide on the host of the championship. (fall of each year)
The committee is made up of 5 members including the tournament director of Pickleball NB. Members of the committee should:
- have organized or been involved in tournaments in the past
- have not submitted a request to become the host of the championship or be a member of the committee of the club proposing to organize the championship
Members interested in participating in the tournament committee should send an email to NB.pickleball.tournaments@gmail.com.
