The Vancouver Island Pickleball Association (VIPA), established in 2013, promotes the growing sport of pickleball on Vancouver Island. The increase in popularity and the growth of pickleball throughout British Columbia, Canada and the USA creates a tremendous opportunity for your company to showcase its products.
The game can be played at any level and regardless of skill level it develops quickness of mind, faster reflexes, and uniquely activates portions of the brain that few other sports do.
It is a highly social game, bringing all ages into an environment where contact with others is a requisite part of the sport. Its benefits as a social experience are unparalleled.
From many clubs throughout the Island, the hundreds of players involved are a widely diverse group sharing a common love for pickleball. The primary demographics of this group represents economic clout and is a major source of discretionary spending.
VIPA acts as a catalyst to support these players through an informative web site and the promotion of clinics, tournaments and league matches. Sponsorships help to defray the costs associated with these activities.

Tournament Promotion:
One of our most valuable resources is that of the coordination, advertising and promotion of tournaments. Our Tournaments page is one of the most accessed on our website. We're sure that the tournament directors/committees that host tournaments on the Island each year appreciate the promotion we provide. In return can we ask that they consider making a donation, from the tournament proceeds, to help toward the costs of running the Vancouver Island Pickleball Association? Maybe something as modest as 0.50¢ per tournament participant. This would help ensure the viability and continuation of VIPA. Contact us. |
