Salt Spring Pickleball Gets Go Ahead

Salt Spring Parks and Recreation Commission members drew the line in an ongoing court war that’s split racquet sport enthusiasts on the island. 
Commissioners voted unanimously to let Salt Spring Pickleball Association members paint lines for two permanent pickleball courts on a public tennis facility in the Burgoyne Valley. 
The decision comes amidst strong opposition from the Salt Spring Tennis Association, which has denounced the plan on grounds that new lines will confuse tennis players.
