The two undefeated teams, 'Victerminetters' and 'Naughty Netters', met on August 31st in a match that would decide the VIPA Team League Women's Division Championship. A closely fought match in which the 'Naughty Netters' team of Pauline Davidson, Glenda Sharpe & Claudia McLean emerged with a 5 to 4 victory. Margaret Van Veen-Hill was also a member of the division winning team.
All matches have now been completed in the Women's Division and the final standings decided.
Only one match remains to be played in the Men's Division 2 but neither team involved can catch the winners or runners up - their match will decide third spot in the final standings.
The Men's Division 2 Champions are the 'DNR" team of Brian Alexander, Ian Wood, Jack Hays & Livio Tedesko. They will now play the team that finished last in Division 1 for the right to compete in the higher division next year.
